In the early weeks we began to talk about the ideas we want to pursue for the main task and what we believed to be an engaging and interesting platform to construct our documentary around. I first looked into the view of mental illness and the views in how people suffer and how family members are affected. Yet I had very little ability to achieve this and had no real connection towards anyone with this disorder. Thus I progressed into looking into something new and different to focus on.
After a while of searching I began to think of things I knew around my home town and a great thing in Maidenhead was Carters Steam Fair a great attraction that travels the country and is a vintage fair with rides from the late 1800’s to the 1970’s. I had a close connection to the family who run it and knew that I would be able to film due to their location and my ability to film on the 5th of November.
