I was very anxious and anticipating the first class of video due to my (at this time) wanting to continue my career into the video side of creative production and perhaps become an editor or a director. Firstly we were introduced and then talked about what we have done through media or film before and if we had done any productions. I had done a film opening and music video in A-level Media Studies.
Most of the class was being introduced to the module and learning/thinking what we want to achieve and what is needed from us to complete the module at the best of our abilities. The main focus is;
A portrait of a place or person; 4-minute long documentary.
Yet before this we needed to create a 1-minute long piece surrounding the University of Sussex either; my first day at Sussex or the struggles of living away from home. Which in our groups we needed to discuss and create ideas around to complete in 3-4 weeks.
